Celebrity Arrests Come in Threes
It seems like celebrity arrests are coming in threes. In the last two days; three celebrities have been arrested, not all on felony arrests, but they are pretty high profile people.
Actor and so-called comedian Russell Brand was arrested for, and booked for a felony in New Orleans.
TMZ reported that he took an iPhone, and hurled it through a glass window while in New Orleans, LA. The reason that he was booked for a felony on this is because an iPhone is worth more than $500, not to mention the window. It’s no secret, I really do not like Russell Brand. Based on his temper, I can see why Katie Perry divorced him.
The second is one of the most high profile actors in Hollywood. George Clooney was arrested with his Father on Friday or storming the Sudanese Embassy. I disagree with Clooney’s politics, but I do like him as an actor and humanitarian. George Clooney doesn’t really seem to have a temper like Mr. Brand.

The third arrest, is perhaps the most ironic arrest. A new found celebrity named Jason Russell was responsible for this hugely viral video (which was well done,) called Kony 2012. The video brought attention (or at least attempted to bring attention too) Joseph Kony, a Ugandan warlord that is using children as soldiers in his army. Mister Russell has been arrested for masturbating in public, which is a SERIOUS SERIOUS charge. This could likely discredit the Kony 2012 movement.
I’m wonder who’s going to be arrested next? With celebrity, comes great responsibility in Hollywood, I’m guessing.
